This allows parents/guardians to monitor students in grades 1 through 12 progress to monitor student achievement. Students in grades 6 through 12 also have access to the student friendly version of the Parent Portal.

Welcome back to the 2021-2022 school year. We know that it will be an amazing year for students! This will be the first time in almost 18 months that we will have the whole AACPS school family back together again for in-person instruction.

All students will be required to wear masks on our buses, in classrooms, hallways, and at indoor recess.
Virtual learning will remain in place for all students as is currently designed until a time yet to be determined in the Spring 2021 semester when the health data support bringing students back into buildings.
As a result of dramatically improved COVID-19 health metrics across the state, Governor Hogan and Dr. Salmon announced on August 28 that every county school system in Maryland is now fully authorized to begin safely reopening.
To maximize protection from the COVID variants and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public regardless of vaccination status. Face masks are required in health care facilities and on public transportation.

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health provided school reopening guidance in October 2020 and again in February 2021 to help safely reopen schools. Now, almost a year and a half into the pandemic, all schools are in a position to fully reopen for the 2021-22 academic year.

WHEN MUST I WEAR A FACE COVERING? There is no longer a mandatory statewide masking order in effect, this is in line with the latest guidance coming from the CDC. In alignment with this CDC guidance, face coverings will still be required on public transportation, in schools, and child care and health care settings.
