Early Childhood and Elementary Dress Code

Elementary School Dress Code is used to ensure that children are comfortably and safely dressed for learning, including physical activity.

Middle school and high school dress code

Students are responsible for being neat, clean and dressed appropriately for serious study. ABA does not have a "uniform” but has adopted an established dress code which attempts to provide a sense of school identity, recognize climatic and cultural restrictions, yet offer some individual flexibility.

In Early Childhood and Elementary, English language proficiency is not a prerequisite for student acceptance to ABA. We encourage parents to maintain their child’s mother language proficiency, as the strength of a second language is largely determined by first language proficiency.

Can you wear jewellery in ABA?

Wearing jewellery is discouraged. ABA cannot accept responsibility for jewellery, watches or other expensive items brought to school. ● ABA has a “no hat, no play” policy. All ABA shirts, PE shorts, and ABA hats are available for purchase in the uniform shop.

Absence

Please let us know, using the Absence Form below, if your child will be absent from school. The form should be completed if your child is ill or if you have a planned absence from school.

Oryx After School Club

Our Oryx Club operates during term time to provide supervision for children waiting for siblings or activities after school. Spaces are limited. Please contact the Primary Office for further information.

School Bus

We have a school bus that runs between Al Mouj and BSM. Please contact the Primary & Senior Offices to find out more.
