How do I get a PowerSchool account?

Contact your school or district for access information and instructions. You can visit your school or district website, or speak with your school or district administrators. PowerSchool logins are granted by schools and districts. Each school will verify your identity before giving you an account to help protect student data and privacy.

What is the PowerSchool ID?

The PowerSchool ID is your new Unified Classroom username. It is usually your email address. It is not the username you used to sign in to the PowerSchool SIS portal.

What are the current ABSS Health Protocols?

The updated ABSS Health Protocols are based on the most recent guidance from NC Health and Human Services and Alamance County Health Department. The updated guidance provides scenarios for returning to school after diagnosis, symptoms, and exposure, including a shortened quarantine period.

Do families need to provide their own personal computers and internet access for students accepted in the Alamance Virtual School?

In order to ensure students can access resources and programs provided by ABSS, the school will provide a chromebook for each student who is enrolled in the school. If a student needs a hotspot due to a lack of internet service in their home, the school will provide a hotspot for the student.
