Each school within the Tuscaloosa County School System now has the ability to activate the student and parent portal. Please be on the lookout for information regarding this new feature. The Student Portal access and Parent Portal access will be separated into two different accounts.

This is a state-level transition affecting every school system in Alabama, not just TCSS. Each school within the Tuscaloosa County School System now has the ability to activate the student and parent portal. Please be on the lookout for information regarding this new feature.

What is the difference between student portal access and Parent Portal access?

The Student Portal access and Parent Portal access will be separated into two different accounts. The Student login access information will be given to each student, as individual schools roll out their activations. The Parent Portal access will be a separate process, and an entirely different account.

How do I create a PowerSchool Parent Portal?

The parent portal allows parents to keep track of student progress in school. Open the internet browser on your computer. Go to PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click on Create Account. Enter your desired username and password.
