PowerSchool Parent Portal connects parents to their child's education. Through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, parents have online access to student information such as grades, attendance, and assignments. Parents of returning students use the portal to update student information and sign forms electronically each year.
PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) is our new data management system. PowerSchool is an easy-to-use, web-based platform that communicates student performance. Parent Portal is accessible from any device with internet access (i.e. computer, tablet, smartphone).
In order to maintain full compliance with the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), all PowerSchool users are required to access PowerSchool using their own account. Student data is not accessible by anyone who does not have the authority to do so.
Enter the Access ID/Password found on the PowerSchool Parent Portal Letter that you received in the mail. You can link up to 7 students to this Parent/Guardian account. You will need to link each student to your account using each student's unique Access ID/Password.
Use the drop down menu Parents enter their name, email address and the username and password they would like to use to access PowerSchool. Parents type the student's first and last name, in the access ID box type the PARENT ACCESS ID and in the Access Password box type PARENT ACCESS PASSWORD for student.
It is usually your email address. It is not the username you used to sign in to the PowerSchool SIS portal. The PowerSchool ID is your new Unified Classroom username. It is usually your email address.

A: Click 'Having trouble signing in' on the PowerSchool login page ( https://ashevillecityschools.powerschool.com/public/account_recovery_begin.html ). You will be asked to enter your username to reset your password. You will need to enter your email address if you have forgotten both your username and your password. Log in information will be sent to your email address.
If there is a situation where a parent or legal guardian should not receive access to student data, please notify the school immediately.
A: Students sign in through the NCEdCloud at https://my.ncedcloud.org/ which is linked on the parent sign in page, as well as on school websites, for ease of access.
