How does adeconnect work for parent entities?

That means no more waiting for the ADE to add, modify, or delete user permissions – Parent Entities can make changes that take effect immediately. At present, ADEConnect operates according to two models: Access via the Student Information System (SIS and also known as Federated) and Direct Sign-on.

What does Ade application mean?

One login per person provides access to multiple applications. Seamless integration with existing student information systems. ADE Application roles are set at the local entity level, where users are known and their application roles identified. User-level system access reporting is available to Entity administrators.

What if a user requires access to other Ade applications?

NOTE: If a user requires access to any other ADE Applications, the user account must be set up manually in the Entity Administration application with the appropriate entity access and ADE application roles by the Entity Administrator.

On May 22, 2019 – Governor Asa Hutchinson announced Johnny Key as the Secretary of the Department of Education as part of his plan to transform state government. Key currently serves the state as the Commissioner of the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), soon to be known as the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.
