PowerSchool Student Portal is a student friendly version of the Parent Portal allowing students in grades 6-12 access to their schedules, assignments/grades and attendance. Students have separate user accounts and log in using their AACPS username and password.
Having a Ascender Parent Portal account will allow you to set alerts to grades and attendance, get a PDF version of report cards and progress reports, and complete district registration forms. Instructions are available below on how to create a new Ascender account if you do not already have one.
Mail to the Office of Advanced Academic Programs, 797 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903 or complete the documents and scan them to the following email advancedacademics@ppsd.org by November 12, 2021. My child does not attend a Providence Public School.

The AP program makes examinations for introductory college-level courses available to high school students. The results of these examinations are then sent to colleges and universities of the student’s choice.
However, each individual college or university makes college credit or advanced placement decisions. Through a partnership with Austin Community College (ACC), the Hays CISD Dual Credit and Dual Credit+ programs provide paths by which students may earn college credit prior to High School graduation.

Athletic Department staff and coaches work to create opportunities for student-athletes to learn skills and lessons that transcend what the every-day AMSA student learns in the classroom -- leadership, teamwork, respect, sacrifice, dedication, enthusiasm, attitude, and mental and physical toughness chief among them.
AMSA’s flagship science research program offers students the opportunity to conduct graduate school-level research in the 10th-12th grades.
