The Aeries Student and Parent Portal is a service through which students and parents/guardians can access live student records, such as attendance and final grades, and for parents/guardians to complete the annual registration process online. How do I access the Aeries Portal?

Aeries Communications (via ParentSquare as of 8/2020) is the primary conduit for messages between the district, your school/s, your student's teachers, and your student's responsible adult/s.

What is my username and/or password for aeries?

Your username is your District-provided email address, [student ID]@my.sbunified.org (e.g., 123456@my.sbunified.org). There is no password for Aeries. Log into your District-provided email before accessing Aeries.

What happens once my email address is entered into aeries?

Aeries has a concept of a “primary student”, and that’s the student that appears on the email notification. You will still have access to all students that are linked to your email address. (Refer back to #4 if after logging in you only see one of your students).

What is home 1 adult?

Home 1 Adult 1: One adult living at the student's official district residence address must receive ALL communications from the District. Home 1 ADULT 2 / HOME 2 Adult 1/ HOME 2 ADULT 2: A second adult in Home 1 and Adults in Home 2 may opt to receive all, only emergency, or no communications from the District.

Does Bacich keep gradebooks?

Bacich teachers do not keep gradebooks online, so if you sign up for a Bacich student, you'll get a message about a nonexistent email. When you log into the family portal, you will see a pop-up banner prompting you to sign up for weekly progress emails if you have not already done so.

Is Aeries Family Portal the same as Aeries Enrollment Portal?

The Aeries Family Portal is completely different from the Aeries Enrollment Portal that you may have used to register your student; login information is not the same. Once your student is registered, you will receive an email from the District with the email address and password you'll use to access the Aeries Family Portal.
