The Aeries Parent/Student Portal is a program parents and students use to review attendance, grades, print unofficial transcripts, edit emergency contact information, etc. Please visit your Aeries Portal occasionally to verify all information is accurate. Students can sign in using their district-assigned username and password.

The traditional independent study program for students in grades 9-12 in the Newport Mesa Unified School District is offered through Monte Vista High School. NMUSD also has the Cloud School which is a virtual program that is available for students who would like an online learning option.
NMUSD Support and Care Line. Support and Care Line: 714-424-5050. Our district launched a Support and Care Line for NMUSD parents and students to get information and support for technology, mental health, student meal service, Distance Learning and instruction, enrollment and student records.
Enrollment now open for 2021-22. New student enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year will begin on Monday, May 24, 2021. Please visit the New student enrollment webpage and follow the steps to begin the process. Currently enrolled Newport-Mesa Unified School District students do not need to complete the enrollment process.
About US. Newport Coast Elementary School opened its doors on February 26, 2001 with 318 students and we currently have over 500 students for the 2019-20 school year. The curriculum is based upon National, Common Core Standards decided upon by the State of California and the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
School Office closed for Summer. The school office is closed from June 23 through July 28. If you have submitted enrollment documents, you will be contacted for next steps when the office reopens on July 29.
Currently enrolled Newport-Mesa Unified School District students do not need to complete the enrollment process. The yearly registration process for currently enrolled students will open in the summer.
