What are the requirements for attendance at Alachua virtual school?

To have satisfactory "attendance," work must be submitted weekly regardless of student's pacing, unless arrangements are made in advance with the Alachua Virtual School teachers and staff. Failure to consistently "attend" school could result in failed course (s) and a truancy report being filed with the Alachua County Court system.

PowerSchool Student Portal is a student friendly version of the Parent Portal allowing students in grades 6-12 access to their schedules, assignments/grades and attendance. Students have separate user accounts and log in using their AACPS username and password.

The Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County has great news! We will be seeking a few good women and men to serve on our new Parent Advocacy Committee, better known as P.A.C. The committee is designed for individuals to be a part of a group that provides ideas and suggestions regarding changes to our office and play spot. Through your involvement you will learn information that may help parents work more effectively with our Agency. Meet and build positive relationships with other parents/caregivers/foster parents who share the same goals. Be educated on changes to our Eligibility process and stay current on changes with the Family Portal.
