Alamo Elementary School is one of the original schools of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, located 35 miles East of San Francisco, tucked into the East Bay hills above the San Ramon Valley.

What is after-school enrichment at Alamo?

Alamo is working with outside providers to offer after-school enrichment programs for our students. This exciting opportunity enables families to enroll their students in activities - without leaving the school campus.

What is a PowerSchool Parent account?

A PowerSchool Parent Account allows you to gain immediate access to student grades, assignments, attendance records and more. Los Alamos JJAB

The Los Alamos JJAB strives to help youth and families in our community feel connected, valued, and recognized. By partnering with other community organizations, JJAB assists with concerns regarding youth and family issues by providing individualized case management, parenting workshops, youth activities and free classes/training.

Safety: Standard Response

A critical ingredient in the safe school recipe is the classroom response to an incident at school. Weather events, fire, accidents, intruders and other threats to student safety are scenarios that are planned and trained for by students, teachers, staff, and administration. Health Commons

The Health Commons is here to serve the community’s health needs by appointment or walk-in, under contract with the New Mexico Department of Health and Las Clinicas Del Norte. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Las Clinicas Del Norte, Tuesday and Thursday, 7 am – 5 pm.

What is an elementary at home program?

The Elementary At Home Learning program helps meet students' individual needs and offers support to families who choose to educate their children at home. The parent/guardian will partner with a credentialed Advisory Teacher to create a customized educational plan for their student that will meet the California State Standards.

When is the VUSD Pre K Academy?

Pre K Academy is for students with limited preschool experience or who are learning English.#N#The Pre K Academy runs from July 12-29, 2021 and will be at Hemlock, Markham, Padan and Fairmont Charter. This program gives some important skills and social connections before students start Kindergarten in August. If your child has limited preschool experience or is an English learner, we highly encourage you to apply. Each elementary school site has applications and can walk you through the process of enrollment for the Pre K Academy.

Can students borrow a Chromebook?

Students can purchase, continue to borrow the chromebook over the summer, or return their Chromebooks at the end of the year. Students wishing to purchase their Chromebooks will need to pay in the school office.
