Who is Alberta Dance Academy?

Welcome to our studio! The Alberta Dance Academy opened its doors in Okotoks in 1990 by founder Brenda Bilozir, and in 2007 she passed on her dream to Erica Hendry. Our purpose is to challenge our students physically, intellectually & expressively, while giving them necessary skills for a prosperous life.

Our studio is the perfect place for your tiny dancer to learn their first plié & also a professional environment in which the more serious dancer can receive top-notch training.

Pre School Program

Ages 0-4 years! It’s never too early to start dancing! In addition to being tons of fun, early dancing leads to socialization benefits and improved self-esteem!

Mini Program

Ages 4-8 years! Children improve cognitive, physical, & social ability all while learning to express themselves creatively in a positive, nurturing environment.

Junior Program

Ages 7-11 years! Commitment, passion, perseverance, and teamwork. Everything you need to learn in life, you’ll learn through the art of dance.

Teens, Adults, & Intensive Classes

Ages 12+ years! Teen classes push dancers with advanced technique & routines while adult classes allow for a little "me" time, less stress and more fun! Join an intensive class to take your training to the next level!
