How do I enroll students in Ascender parentportal?

Answer is required. Your ASCENDER ParentPortal account has been created. New Students: If you are new to the district and wish to enroll a student, click Create Account. Returning Students: Log on and complete the Returning Student Enrollment process. New Students: If you are new to the district and wish to enroll a student, click Create Account.

If you do not have one, we can help create one for you. Bay City ISD will begin using Ascender Parent Portal to allow parents/guardians to register their current BCISD students online. Parents may log in to their parent portal account to complete the process before August.

What is the parent portal?

Parent Portal is a complete on-line system which allows the parent access to their student’s information including, but not limited to, student schedules, grades, discipline, and attendance. Yearly student information updates are done in the Parent Portal.

Returning Students

Bay City ISD will begin using Ascender Parent Portal to allow parents/guardians to register their current BCISD students online. Parents may log in to their parent portal account to complete the process before August. Each student must be registered for the 2020-2021 school year. Your child’s portal id was mailed to you.

Troubleshooting

1. The email address in our TxEIS system that you used to register last year, MUST match the email address you used to create your Parent Portal account.

Eligibility

Children who will be four years old on or before September 1 and meet the criteria are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten.
