The parent portal feature of the Aspen student information system provides you with information about your child's attendance and performance in class. BWRSD has a process in place to automatically create portal accounts. When a student is registered, there is an overnight process that creates an account for the student and for the parent.
We do not have you listed as a contact in Aspen for your children. The former system contained multiple accounts for you, possibly with conflicting information (e.g., different names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers).
In Aspen, your contact information should be verified and merged into a single account in order for all of your children to appear in your Parent Portal account. This allows for more efficient security and management.
Aspen protects student data with the same advanced technology your bank uses to protect your financial accounts. Rest assured that Aspen users only have access to information they need, and nothing more.
