What is the Aspen student portal?

The student portal feature of the Aspen student information system provides you with teacher pages and class resources, assignments and grades. All students are issued an Aspen Student Portal Login ID and default password.

What is Parent Portal?

Parent Portal is the student information platform used by Portsmouth Public Schools to keep parents and families engaged in their child’s academic performance and progress. Through Parent Portal, families have the ability to see real-time grade information, attendance data as well as upcoming/current assignments.

How do I log in to Aspen?

To log in to Aspen, please click the Aspen icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Your Login ID is the same as your network login (e.g. smithj23). Your default password is patriots The first time you login, you will be notified that “Your password has expired.

What is the student portal?

The Student Portal allows students to view their own school records anywhere, anytime. In response for the privilege of accessing the site, every student is expected to act in a responsible, ethical and legal manner. The Student Portal is available to every student enrolled in Portsmouth High School.

If you have an EXISTING Aspen account

If you already have an Aspen account with a student in the district you can access the Online Registration Portal here by using that account. When logged in to Aspen proceed to Start a new New Student Registration > +Initiate . See Step 5 below for an example.

If you are new to the District and need to create a NEW Aspen account

Step 1 – Access the Aspen Online Registration Portal and Create an Aspen account by selecting Request an Account Step 2 – If you are new to the district and do not have another child in a Portsmouth School select I am a parent/guardian registering my child online. Step 3 – Complete the online form with some basic information to create an account.

Required Documents

All required documents should be uploaded to the Online Registration Portal under the Documents Tab prior to your registration appointment. If you do not have a document scanner you can use a smartphone to take an image of your required document and attach them to the document section.
