What is the campus parent portal for Austin Public Schools?

Campus Parent Portal - Austin Public Schools | Engage. Empower. Inspire. Austin Public Schools offers online student registration to those families who currently have a Campus Parent Portal account.

How do I sign up for the parent portal?

Go to portal.austinisd.org to access the Parent Portal. If you do not have a Parent Portal Account, you can register for one online. The Parent Portal serves as the primary resource for all of the services provided online to our parents.

How do I obtain an APS campus Parent Portal account?

If you do not have an APS Campus Parent Portal Account and wish to obtain one, please contact portal@austin.k12.mn.us to obtain account information and support.

Tuition Deposit

All students, new and returning, are required to pay a non-refundable tuition deposit of $2,000. For new students, this deposit is due upon enrollment and holds the student’s space in his or her class. For returning students, this deposit is due upon class registration and holds the student’s space in his or her class.

Registration

A one-time payment of $350 is charged to new students. It is non-refundable, and it is in addition to the basic tuition rate quoted above.

Tuition Payment

Austin Preparatory School is partnered with Smart Tuition to manage tuition payment. Families can choose one of the following payment plans outlined below. Each plan is administered by the Austin Prep Business Office in conjunction with our tuition management provider.

Step 1: Submit the Inquiry Form

Create your Admissions Portal account by submitting the Inquiry Form. Once your account has been created, you can schedule a visit and complete the application for admission. After creating an account, you may access the portal through the Admissions Portal Login button on this page.

Step 2: Complete Online Application

Once you pay the application fee and fill out the remaining demographic information the rest of the application will populate including teacher recommendations, student and parent questionnaires and transcripts. A standardized test such as the PSAT, PACT, SAT or ACT is not required but encouraged.
