How can I Check my Child's progress at Avondale College?

By EFTPOS, cash or credit card to our school cashier (in Reception), Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Avondale College reports on the progress of students each term. (These reports are also available in Family Connection under the Documents tab.)

What's new at Avondale High School?

Avondale High School Student Leadership has announced the beneficiary of the 2021 Caring and Sharing Campaign as "The Greening of Detroit". Students will host activities throughout the week to raise funds and awareness to support the group that champions environmental issues. PPTA Paid Union Meeting for teachers in the afternoon. School finishes at 12:30pm. All buses except for NZ Bus to Glendene will depart Avondale College at 12:30pm.

Lifestyle medicine is an essential skill for Marty Thomson’s ministry in Kempsey. With the town “suffering under the burden of so many preventable diseases,” the key to connecting with the community is pastors working with doctors.

What is Avondale High School?

Avondale High School offers many options to help prepare each individual student for their road to their future. Through our expansive, rigorous curriculum, our Early College program, online classes, Honors & AP classes, and summer school, we have the tools and programs to support every student in reaching their goals – no matter what their needs may be! Our counseling center is available to provide students with assistance in various academic support needs, such as studying skills, tutoring, helpful tips, and various resources. We also take pride in our Career Development program, where we help students learn more about themselves and what jobs match their interests, skills, and personalities. Avondale Board of Education Announces New Officers for 2022

At the January 10, 2022 Board of Education Organizational meeting, the Board seated a new President and Vice President for 2022. Congratulations to Mr. Chip Tischer who will serve as President and Ms. Lucille Washington who will serve as Vice President. Ms. Kelly Brault will continue as Secretary and Mr. David Down will continue as Treasurer.

Avondale Career Development Team Provides Opportunities for Community Members to Share Job Experiences with Students

There are several ways to share your work experiences with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade including being a Guest Reader, a Career Day Speaker, providing a demonstration or hands-on experience related to your field of employment, sharing your experiences with a single classroom, and representing your company at a Career Fair.

Competitive Curriculum & Meaningful Education
