Our Busy Bee Before/After School Care program provides just that for your school-age child. Busy Bee gives children the chance to participate in activities that encourage social, physical, and intellectual growth, while being cared for before and after school. We also provide a Summer Camp with themed activities each week. Our Busy Bee program is licensed by the State of Michigan and follows our District Calendar in terms of open/close dates and hours of operation. Avondale Youth Assistance (AYA) is a non-profit community service organization that is committed to strengthening our community's youth and families, and helping to reduce the incidence of juvenile delinquency, child neglect, and abuse. The AYA mission is achieved through partnerships between the Avondale School District, local municipalities, and the Oakland County Circuit Court-Family Division, who provides caseworkers to offer counseling services to children and families within Avondale.#N#AYA provides a wide range of programs and services to community youth and their families, including mentoring programs, recognition programs to honor positive personal achievements, after-school and summer programs, scholarships, and more.
