When will Elink start in 2021?

Please login to ELink beginning July 19, 2021 and check it often, up to the first day of school. Bus stops may be altered slightly after July 19 due to new students enrolling daily. This is the first day bus stop information will be available to parents for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.

What time do you bring a cheque to Avon View High School?

Brought to school during school hours (9-3:30 PM). If you can, please bring the cheque or cash (in exact change please) to the school, and once you arrive, call the office at 902-792-6740. Someone will come out to meet you and will issue you a receipt. Cheques are payable to Avon View High School please. Mail in a cheque.

When will Grad photos be taken in 2021?

Grad photos will be taken November 29th– December 3rd, 2021.   As soon as we have the link to book appointments it will be posted hereas well as in the Google Classroom.   Thank you.

What is prep4ward program?

The Prep4ward program is led by our experienced and caring faculty as well as other experts in how boys develop. The ultimate goal of the foundational program is to educate and inspire boys to be successful in their academic pursuits while attending the school and in their lives after Avon.

Is Avon a special needs school?

While Avon enthusiastically makes available a variety of supportive resources for students, it is not a special needs school and is not equipped to provide individualized educational programs for students with severe physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities.

Do you have to participate in competitive sports at Avon?

No. You are required to participate in two competitive sports out of the three seasons that you are at Avon. However, there are several afternoon activities that fall under the category of “competitive sport” (Robotics, Independent Art Project, Drama, Team Manager).
