The Ballston Spa Central School District currently serves approximately 4,200 students from Grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12.
This past summer and early fall, the Ballston Spa Central School District welcomed over 60 new faculty and staff members to join in the ranks of professionals who are dedicated to serving our students in various roles and capacities.

With recent approvals for the use of the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for students ages 5-11, as well as the expansion of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for students ages 12+, we are requesting that those who have been recently vaccinated respond to a confidential survey to inform the District of your/your student’s vaccination status.

The members of the Ballston Spa Board of Education are extremely proud of the way in which our students and school community have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. From our perspective, it is now time to forge ahead and to remove the mask mandate within our schools, and to adjust the additional pandemic restrictions accordingly.
Our High School Science Olympiad team placed 3rd at the Capital Region Science Olympiad Tournament which was recently held at Ballston Spa High School. Seventeen teams from throughout the Capital Region competed in the tournament. Ballston Spa students won medals in 17 out of 23 events.
