While at BASIS Scottsdale, he has helped pilot the new Algebra 1 curriculum, served as the faculty advisor for NHS and coached the track team. Mr. Garvey will miss being in the classroom, but in his new role as Head of School, he is looking forward to connecting with the BASIS Scottsdale students, parents, and teachers.

Tyler Garvey joined BASIS Scottsdale in 2011 as a middle and high school math teacher. After three years of teaching, he served as Director of Academic Programs for the school before returning to the classroom in 2018.
Ms. Hunt joined the BASIS Charter Schools in 2012. Previously, she served as a Subject Expert Teacher, Director, and Head of Operations at BASIS Chandler. Before joining BASIS Charter Schools, she worked for California State University in Sacramento, as well as an Archival Assistant for the California State Museum. Ms.
Mr. Wilkins began his career with BASIS Charter Schools at BASIS Chandler Primary North as the Director of Academic Programs. After two years in that role, he moved to the Director of Upper School Programs at BASIS Chandler.
Niki Cuccinotto joined the BASIS Charter Schools network in 2018, as the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator at BASIS Phoenix Central. Her proficiency in process management and development of community partnerships led her to the Director of Operations role at BASIS Scottsdale. Ms.

Parents/Guardians should complete and submit student enrollment applications during the Open Enrollment period. Applications submitted after the Open Enrollment period has ended will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, following applications received during the Open Enrollment period.
If the number of applicants during Open Enrollment exceeds the number of openings (at any grade level), enrollment is determined by a lottery and waitlist numbers. The Open Enrollment period for BASIS Charter Schools is NOT first come, first served. Only applications completed during the Open Enrollment period are included in the lottery.
