Parent Portal is a complete on-line system which allows the parent access to their student’s information including, but not limited to, student schedules, grades, discipline, and attendance. Yearly student information updates are done in the Parent Portal.

Ascender Parent Portal -- TxConnect is the software application that you use to check your students grades, attendance, etc. If you have any questions please contact your student's campus for assistance.
How to Pin Parent Portal Shortcut on Apple and Android. Open a browser on your device. Browse to the district Ascender website. iPhone users will need to use the Safari browser. Android users may use Chrome. For iPhone, in the Safari browser, click the box with the arrow at bottom of page and choose Add to Home Screen.

Bay City ISD will begin using Ascender Parent Portal to allow parents/guardians to register their current BCISD students online. Parents may log in to their parent portal account to complete the process before August. Each student must be registered for the 2020-2021 school year. Your child’s portal id was mailed to you.
1. The email address in our TxEIS system that you used to register last year, MUST match the email address you used to create your Parent Portal account.
Children who will be four years old on or before September 1 and meet the criteria are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten.
