How to Access the Patient Portal

Go to www.beansproutpediatrics.com. The dark blue bar at the top of the page has a button for Patient Login. Click that option, and you will be redirected to https://8042-1.portal.athenahealth.com/

Can I see all of my children in the portal?

All established patients within your family under the age of 18 should be visible in the patient portal. For children over 18, you will need a signed consent to see any medical information other than billing information. If your children are not linked in the portal and all showing, please contact Beansprout at admin@beansproutpeds.com

Can I schedule an Appointment in the Portal?

On the home page of the portal, you will see a blue button for Schedule Now under the header Appointments. Make sure that the child’s name that you are wanting to schedule the appointment for is showing on the left. Once you click that schedule button, you will be prompted to select the reason for the appointment.

Can I see details about my patient balance in the portal?

Yes. Choose the child with the balance from the drop down menu on the Home page. Go to Billing. You can click on the blue hyperlink View Details on the bill for a certain service date to see the underlying detail for any balances due and make payment when ready.

How can I view lab and test reports?

Choose the child you are wanting records for from the drop down menu on the Home page. Go to My Health, then Test Results. On the portion called Vaccinations, there is a blue hyperlink saying Print. Once you select Print, you can print to a printer or save the records as a pdf for subsequent emailing to third parties.

How can I view my medications and dosage instructions?

Choose the child you are wanting records for from the drop down menu on the Home page. Go to My Health, then Medications. On the portion called Vaccinations, there is a blue hyperlink saying Print. Once you select Print, you can print to a printer or save the records as a pdf for subsequent emailing to third parties.

How can I print a back to school or work letter?

Choose the child you are wanting the letter for from the drop down menu on the Home page. Go to My Health, then Medical Forms. At the top of that page will be any requested Return to Work/School notes created by the doctor with the date of service. Click the blue hyperlink with the name of the letter, and it will download onto your device.
