All students in Bedford County Public Schools will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year. Although school meals will be provided free to all children, it is still very important for families to fill out a meal application for the 2021-2022 school year.
To obtain access to the Campus Parent Portal fill out the Acceptable Use Policy and return it in person to your school office. You will need to provide a valid driver’s license as a form of identification to receive your activation code.

The Bedford County School Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting on July 8, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the School Board Office conference room located at 311 South Bridge Street, Bedford, VA. The public is encouraged to watch the meeting via live stream on our YouTube channel.
In addition to a student having to be 100% virtual or hybrid, the student must also be currently approved for free or reduced-price school meals. If you are unsure if your child is approved for free or reduced-price meals, please contact the School Nutrition Office at 540-586-1045, option five for assistance.
Although school meals will be provided free to all children, it is still very important for families to fill out a meal application for the 2021-2022 school year. Approved free and reduced meal applications also help families qualify for certain division fee reductions and for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits paid through the Virginia Department of Social Services.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a nationwide waiver to allow school divisions to provide free meals to all students regardless of income through school year 2021-2022. All students in Bedford County Public Schools will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year.
Campus Parent Portal is a system on the BCSD student information system that allows parents to securely access information via the internet about their student’s grades, attendance, assignments and more.
Campus Parent Portal accounts are required for returning families to register their students.
