A student requesting to bring a friend that is not a student of Belleville West High School, must have the Guest Form completed before a ticket can be released. Your student may pick up the Guest Form in his/her Assistant Principal's Office. Occasionally, military and college recruiters are allowed access to certain student information.
To gain access to Parent Portal contact your child's school and provide your email address to the school secretaries. Your account will be auto generated when your email address is added to your student's contact information.
District 201 uses a student management system which contains a Parent/Student Portal. The portal allows you to view various aspects of your student’s records, including grades and attendance information. In addition, all student members of a family will be visible through a single login account.
The purpose of this standardized dress policy it to improve the safety of the schools by discouraging gang affiliations, improve the learning environment, reduce classroom distractions, bridge socio-economic differences between students, increase student’s self-respect and self-esteem, enhance student security, and enable a cost savings for families. This standardized dress policy allows students to focus on their academics rather than on peer pressure related to fads and/or costly attire. Raising the standard of dress will enhance the school’s image within the community and improve school spirit.
Initial referral forms are found online through the “Initial Referral Link” or paper forms can be found in the counseling center in B building.
General Use Forms: Occasionally military and college recruiters are allowed access to certain student information. If you wish to have your child’s information withheld, please complete the Military Access Form (PDF / TXT) and return to the Principal’s Office.
NOTE: ONLY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MAY EXCUSE AN ABSENCE. If the absence is of more than one day’s duration, the Attendance Office should be notified concerning the duration of the absence. In cases of extended illness, it is recommended that the counselor be contacted and arrangements be made for make-up work.
