School Board Approves New 2022-23 Teacher Recruitment Bonuses for Critical Need School Locations, Content Areas

A new teacher may be eligible for a total recruitment bonus of $5,000 if he or she is eligible based upon school location and content area.

Paul Knox Middle School Student Ayla Holmes Captures Aiken County Spelling Bee Title with 'Bungee'

Each participant in the spelling bee received a $100 gift card to Barnes and Noble. The winner received a plaque, a $100 Apple gift card, and an Apple iPad.

Board Approves Hiring of Matt Quinn as Head Football Coach, Physical Education Teacher at North Augusta High

Quinn was a member of four consecutive state championship teams at Byrnes High School and was named to the South Carolina Shrine Bowl team in 2005.

2022-23 School Year Applications for District's Full-Time Virtual Program Available Now Through February 25th

Students interested in participating in the Aiken iNNOVATE program must currently be in good academic standing with passing grades for the 2021-2022 school year.
