Does Berklee have an interest free payment plan?

Tuition Payment Plan Since 1990, Berklee has contracted with the company Nelnet/Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to provide students and parents with an interest-free payment plan option. Nelnet/TMS allows students to pay for the fall or spring semester over a five-month period as opposed to making payment in full at the start of each semester.

How do I apply for financial aid for Berklee University?

There are two main forms used to help Berklee award need-based financial aid: the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile. We encourage you to submit the applicable forms as soon as possible.

What is the role of a parent in high school?

Parental Role. High School. The parent has access to student records and can participate in the accommodation process. The parent advocates for the student. College. The parent does not have access to their student's records without the student's written consent. The student must self-advocate.

Who is responsible for self-advocacy in college?

Students must self-identify to their college's disability services office. The primary responsibility for self-advocacy and arranging accommodations belongs to the student. Faculty are usually open and helpful, but most expect the student to initiate contact if the student needs assistance.

Alternative Payment

If you do not have access to my.berklee.edu and want to make a payment on a student's account, you can go to berklee.edu/altpay. Payment made via the alternative payment website will be posted to the student's account the next business day. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5 percent service charge.

Traveler's Checks

If you plan on paying in person, traveler's checks are the safest way to do so. Be sure not to countersign your traveler's checks until you make your payment at the Office of Student Accounts.

Third-Party Scholarships

We will be happy to apply advance credit to your account for a scholarship awarded from an outside agency. You must submit a letter to the Office of Student Accounts from the scholarship source, on their letterhead, stating that the scholarship will be mailed directly to Berklee.

What is Berkley School District's technology plan?

The Berkley School District Technology Plan supports the District’s mission to guide, encourage and support each and every learner by placing a strong emphasis on building technology infrastructure that will support the work of all students and staff, and by making a variety of technologies readily available to all. What is MESP account?

MESP is designed to assist families with preparing for higher education expenses. Parents and others can open an account for a child/beneficiary that can grow through regular contributions and through investment growth. Various investment options are available.

Does Berkley School District have accident insurance?

The Berkley School District provides student accident insurance for all students in pre-school through grade twelve. This insurance is purchased from Student Assurance Services, In. and provides the following coverage to students (please refer to the attached Policy Schedule for exact coverage):

Tuition deposit payments can be made online through berklee.edu/apply (Opens in a new window) once you indicate "yes" to reply to your offer.

Paying Over the Phone with Credit Card

Undergraduate tuition deposit payments can be made over the phone by calling 617-747-2165.
