Welcome to Berkeley Township School District. We are the home to four elementary schools, with students from preschool through sixth grade. What is the Student Parent Center?

The Student Parent Center is committed to the holistic support and success of a highly motivated population of undergraduate and graduate students who are engaged scholars, as well as devoted parents at UC Berkeley.

When and where does the Berkeley County Board of Education meet?

The Berkeley County Board of Education meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. in the Boardroom located at 107 E. Main Street in Moncks Corner (except as noted on October 26 and March 8). Board meetings are open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend.

What is Berkley School District's technology plan?

The Berkley School District Technology Plan supports the District’s mission to guide, encourage and support each and every learner by placing a strong emphasis on building technology infrastructure that will support the work of all students and staff, and by making a variety of technologies readily available to all. Many schools have also pursued initiatives to increase student and staff access to technology.

What is the Berkley School District problem solving model?

Berkley School District utilizes a problem- solving model to provide timely assistance to students and match the interventions to each learner’s level of need. This process is organized into three levels, or Tiers.

Where to post a child's school?

Posting at the primary entrances to your child’s school. The entrances that will be posted are the main entrance and those that have a sidewalk that leads directly to a parking lot.

Who can access school records?

A school official also includes a liaison officer who, while not employed by the School District, may be granted access to student educational records (including video footage) at the direction and supervision of a school administrator. A school official also may include a contractor or consultant who, while not employed by the School District, performs an institutional service or function (such as design and maintenance of the School District’s security camera system) for which the school would otherwise use its own employees and who is under the direct control of the School District with respect to the use and maintenance of personally identifiable information from student education records.

Does Berkley School District have asbestos?

Berkley School District has conducted minor asbestos abatement within its various facilities in the last year. The removal/repair projects were performed by Michigan Licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractors and managed by Nova Environmental, Inc., the district’s environmental consulting firm.

EXPOSURE & QUARANTINE GUIDELINES

Per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), exposure occurs if a person has been in close contact (within six feet) for greater than or equal to 15 minutes with a person with COVID-19 over a 24-hour period.
