How do I enroll in the Berkshire Health Portal?

If you are attempting to enroll in the portal for the first time after 2/1/2020 you will receive an email invite at your next appointment at Berkshire Health Systems or our community partners. If you would like to enroll before your next appointment, please call 413-447-2505 or email berkshireportal@bhs1.org to begin enrollment.

What is the Berkshire County education improvement unit?

It is governed by an 18-member board of directors composed of a representative from each of the public school districts of Berks County. The BCIU has no administrative or supervisory functions in local school districts but exists to provide services and programs that might not be economical or practical for districts to provide themselves.

What districts does BCIU serve?

Become a valued member of the team that transports 10,000 students daily! Districts served include: Antietam, Muhlenberg, Reading, and Tulpehocken Area . CDL preferred, but will pay for training if qualified candidate.

Does BCIU have substitute custodians?

Free Preschool and Home-Based Programs

Income eligible programs that promote school readiness for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Head Start and Pre-K Counts serve children ages 3-5 years old, and Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children from birth to 3 years old.

District Referred Student Registration Information Update

If your child was referred by their respective school district and has been accepted/enrolled to be in a Bucks IU school-aged or transition program, we want to be sure we have their most current information on file with us for the new school year.
