What is Beyond the Bell?

The purpose of the Beyond the Bell Program is to support student learning & development by providing homework help, academic intervention/enrichment, ACT prep, and clubs that connect kids & families to their school and community.

How is Beyond the Bell funded?

Beyond the Bell after school activities are funded through a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant administered by the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center, as well as the generous donations of individuals, community based & civic organizations.

What grades are eligible for Beyond the Bell?

Students in grades K - 12 who are enrolled in the Ridgewood School District are eligible for program participation. Students wishing to enroll in the Beyond the Bell Program must obtain enrollment form.

What is Beyond the Bell?

Beyond the Bell provides supervised after school care at a reasonable cost in a familiar school setting for children in grades Pre-K-5th. After enjoying a healthy snack, and completing their homework, the children will participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. High School students that have been selected through an interview process along with the Program Lead will be working with the students and supervising all activities.

What time does Beyond the Bell start?

The program begins at time of dismissal and runs until 6:00 p.m. on each instructional day. Our program follows the district school calendar. All Elementary Beyond the Bell attendees will ride the bus to Primary campus to attend the program. All pick-ups will occur at the Primary campus.
