What is a BFCCPS?

BFCCPS follows Massachusetts Department of Public Health Regulations Governing the Administration of Prescription Medications in Public and Private Schools. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and/or Benadryl or the generic equivalent (s) may be administered with the guidelines set by the School’s physician. Additionally, the BFCCPS Medication Policy requires a doctor’s order and parent consent for properly labeled over-the-counter medications to be administered.

What is BFCCPS in Massachusetts?

In accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Regulations, BFCCPS strives to protect the health and safety of our students related to traumatic brain injury (concussion) during school and extracurricular athletic activities.

What is Snap Health Portal?

SNAP Health Portal is used to better connect you with your child’s school health and wellness information. This web-based system provides an easy, secure, and green way for you to update and review important school health information and medical documents throughout the year.

Do you have to screen every morning at BFCCPS?

It is imperative that each student is screened every morning that they are attending in-person learning at BFCCPS before leaving for school. Please see the screening questions posted here that need to be asked by a parent or guardian each morning.
