What is the Brea Olinda Unified School District?

Brea Olinda Unified School District (BOUSD) recognizes that technology and Internet resources offer a wide variety of educational opportunities and tools that can enhance learning. Leveraging these digital tools helps inspire the 4C’s of Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking. BOUSD utilizes a variety of tools including Google Suite for Education to assist in collaborative sharing of resources by teachers and students. Digital tools like Google Suite for Education help support the development of student skills needed for the 21st Century, and the goals found in the ISTE NETS Standards for students ( https://www.iste.org/standards/for-students ).

What are students responsible for?

Student accounts may not be used in the following ways: unlawful activities; using obscene, profane, threatening, or disrespectful language; commercial purposes; personal financial gain; false identity in email communications; misrepresentation of BOUSD; interference with BOUSD technology operations. Bullying will not be tolerated and the privacy of others should be respected at all times.
