How old is Bret Harte high school?

Bret Harte Union High School, established in 1905, celebrated its 100th year of operation in 2005. Two elementary school districts feed into the high school district - Vallecito Union School District and the Mark Twain Union Elementary School District. The district community includes foothill communities, pristine lake areas, and high mountains.

What is the Bret Harte district?

The Bret Harte Union High School District serves secondary students in the community of historic Angels Camp, home of "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" and also serves the Corridor 4 communities from Copperopolis to Bear Valley.

When is the Bret Harte track and field open to the public?

Please be advised that the Bret Harte High School Track and Field is closed to the public from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM during school days. It is open to the public before and after these hours and on non-school days.

What did Bret Harte do for Cherry Hill Food Pantry?

The Bret Harte community donated almost 60 boxes worth of food which went directly to the Cherry Hill Food Pantry & JFCS. Thanks for being Harte SMART and supporting families in need! We have begun evening community meetings in the fall of 2021 at each school building to discuss that building’s needs.

On Thursday, 3/25/21, at 7 pm, the CHPS Mental Health Task Force presented their Community Outreach Program online, including panelists from High Focus Centers, Penn Medicine, Effective School Solutions, the Cherry Hill Fire Department and more. Important Notice Regarding Masking in Schools

The Cherrry Hill Public Schools' Road Forward Committee will recommend to the Board of Education at the February 22, 2022, Action Meeting that the District move to optional masking for all students and staff in our schools beginning March 7, 2022.

LTC Limited Coverage Available

Modesto City Schools is providing families optional Limited Technology Coverage (LTC) at a cost of $20 per student to protect their school issued computer. Students with LTC will be covered for the first Accidental Damage and Stolen Device (with Police Report). A $200 fee will be applied if the device is vandalized, lost or stolen (without a verified police report).
