How can I get involved as a Brewster parent?

There are many ways you can be involved as a Brewster parent, whether you live down the street, in another state, or even in another country (Parents have even travelled from China to host an authentic Chinese New Year celebration that students talked about long after the lunar New Year began!). The community welcomes your involvement.

Brewster as a student body is so accepting ... every single person is accepted for all their different attributes.

What is off-campus Brewster?

Off-Campus – And, sometimes we bring Brewster to you via receptions throughout the country (actually, throughout the world) to offer parents and prospective parents and students an opportunity to get to know the Brewster family and the Brewster program. Host cities and towns change from year to year.

Why Brewster boarding school?

The Hill family is no stranger to boarding school but came a long way from the West Coast to find the right fit! It’s not easy choosing the boarding path but watching their daughter's confidence grow has shown them it was the right choice. Brewster is the way education should be.

What is Brewster Academy?

The Brewster Academy Health Center is run by the Health Services Director Carrie MacDonald BSN, RN, and a staff of licensed nurses. Brewster Academy nurses work with the pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioner at Wolfeboro Pediatrics who visit campus three times a week. The on-campus Health Center, within Anderson Hall, includes an exam room, a treatment room, four beds, and a waiting area. The school counselor's office is located on the lower level of the Academic Building. When school is in session, there is 24-hour on-call nursing coverage.

Where is Brewster Academy Counseling located?

The Brewster Academy Counseling Services are located in the bottom floor of the academic building and staffed by licensed Behavioral Health professionals. The Director of Counseling (Susan Palmer-Ansorg PhD.) is a licensed Psychologist, and our school based Counselor (Joe Brown, MS) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Together they provide a number of services free of charge to students including short-term counseling, group counseling, psycho-educational programming, and consultation to faculty when emotional issues are affecting school performance. Additionally, they offer crisis assessment and intervention 24/7 when school is in session.

Does Brewster Academy use Magnus?

Brewster Academy is pleased to partner with Magnus electronic medical records to collect our student health information for each school year. Magnus is a secure and easy to use website to submit and store health information online.
