An update on COVID cases and test kits. Qualified residents of the Brighton Central School District will vote on two propositions in a special vote on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Central Administration Building, Gymnasium, Door 4, 2035 Monroe Ave.

In November and December, Brighton High School celebrated six student-athletes committing to play NCAA Division I athletics next year. French Road Elementary School student Garrett Hopkin is a huge Buffalo Bills fan. His physical education teacher, Mrs. Krystal Forsyth, arranged for him to receive a gift from Josh Allen.
The Brighton High School girls alpine skiing team won the Section V Class A team championship on Wednesday, Feb. 16 and senior Ben Comeau won the Section V boys combined championship on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Hunt Hollow.

The Brighton girls Nordic skiing team won a fourth straight Section V championship and Cate Anzellotti won the overall individual Section V championship at Bristol Mountain on Monday, Feb. 15.
East High School Superintendent Dr. Shaun Nelms was the event’s guest speaker. Womba Africa Drumming and Dance from Ghana also performed for students.
She now has 1,091 points, passing Assistant Coach Brooke Wolff (1,085 points).
Brown is known for books such as “The Wild Robot,” “The Curious Garden,” “Children Make Terrible Pets,” and “Creepy Carrots!”
Over two dozen staff and students wore hijab and over 100 others wore buttons to show support.
