This is the fourth national title for the Pride, with the first occurrence taking place in 2006, the second in 2011 and the third in 2015. “The student musicians in the Pride of Broken Arrow, and the band directors led by Darrin Davis are quite simply put, incredible,” Broken Arrow Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Janet Vinson said.
They work 10-hour days in the summer, and most evenings and weekends throughout the fall striving for perfection. What they exemplify is an embodiment of integrity and grit that is at the heart of Broken Arrow.
Shortly after the final music notes resonated through Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the Pride of Broken Arrow secured a national title Saturday evening. This is the fourth national title for the Pride, with the first occurrence taking place in 2006, the second in 2011 and the third in 2015.
Broken Arrow Public Schools to provide free meals to children during June and July. Broken Arrow Public Schools is participating in a summer feeding program that provides free meals to children age 18 and younger at various Broken Arrow school sites and locations.
November is Native American Heritage Month. This month is a time to celebrate the rich and diverse culture, traditions, and history of our Native people. Broken Arrow Public Schools' Indian Education department will focus on Native Americans that made important contributions throughout history as well as celebrating indigenous people through food, crafts and culture.
Participation will take less than 15 minutes and is completely anonymous. The surveys will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 19.

Parents/guardians can pre-register for an account with TEAM Clinics by visiting go.teamclinics.com or they can contact the health office at their child's school site. After the account has been set up, then the school's health office can work with the parent/guardian to use this service for their child in the future. Additionally, parents/guardians should not not utilize the appointment scheduler located within TeamClinics. Instead, the school's health office will need to be contacted to make an appointment.
