What is the parent portal?

What is Parent Portal? Parent Portal not only monitors your student's attendance (at the elementary level) and academic progress through the internet, it will also be the site where you locate documents, register students in school, and update demographic information.

What information can parents/guardians access with a Parent Portal account?

With a Parent Portal account, parents/guardians have access to the following student information: Please remember that your logon "name" is the email address you used when creating your account. How do I get my student's information from BSSD?

Please email bssdpschoolparents@bssd.net and provide your student's name and school, your name, and email associated with the account. Once your information has been verified, you will be emailed your student's information. Please allow 48 hours (M-F) for a return email.

When will the student portal be available?

What is Student Portal?

The same website as the Parent Portal, but students in grades 6-12 will have access to their grades/attendance.

Can I change my password?

In Parent Portal, yes, go to Account Preferences and click on the pencil icon next to the password to edit your password. In Student Portal, no.

Can I check my student's lunch balance?

In Parent Portal, it is available under Balance. This will show you the student's lunch balance, as well as any fees due.

Can progress reports be emailed to me?

Currently elementary cannot see grades. For secondary the answer is Yes! Go to Email Notification, select the reports you would like to receive, frequency, any additional e-mails, and Submit.

Enrolled my Kindergarten student in the spring, do I need to complete Enrollment Express again?

Yes, but you will be completing returning student information. We also ask that you upload proof of residency.

i-CARE

The i-CARE before and after school program welcomes all BCSC students. In accordance with BCSC Policy 2260, i-CARE does not discriminate on the basis of any Protected Class, including disability.

Enrollment Information

Please remember to enroll for each new school year. Your enrollment does not rollover to the next school year.

Break Care

The i-CARE Program provides care for students in grades PreK through 6th grade during Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks (excluding major holidays). You must enroll online for break care separately from normal school year enrollment. i-CARE will open at 6:30 am and close at 6:00 pm on these days.
