Initial referral forms are found online through the “Initial Referral Link” or paper forms can be found in the counseling center in B building.

Why is Belleville East and West a standardized dress policy?

The purpose of this standardized dress policy it to improve the safety of the schools by discouraging gang affiliations, improve the learning environment, reduce classroom distractions, bridge socio-economic differences between students, increase student’s self-respect and self-esteem, enhance student security, and enable a cost savings for families. This standardized dress policy allows students to focus on their academics rather than on peer pressure related to fads and/or costly attire. Raising the standard of dress will enhance the school’s image within the community and improve school spirit.

How to contact school attendance office?

In order that the school may have an accurate accounting, it is requested that the parent or guardian communicate by phone to the Attendance Office (222-3700) between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. the morning of the absence. Beyond the optimum 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. calling period, calls can be made at any time, day or night, by leaving a message on the automated phone system. This can be accomplished by calling the same number (222-3700). The prompt will direct you to dial “1” for the absentee line. The next prompt will ask you to dial the appropriate number:
