Cabarrus County Schools has prepared a video and other support documentation for Parents. Parents will receive instructions and a secure login code to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal to monitor their students' progress. PowerSchool access codes will be distributed with 1st quarter progress reports.
We now require that Parents / Guardians create an account in order to complete Enrollment, Hardship Transfer, and Program Choice Applications. Ashtyn Berry, 3rd grade teacher at WR Odell Elementary School, was named Cabarrus County Schools (CCS) Teacher of the Year on Tuesday, April 20th with a surprise announcement at school. Follow this link for updated school meal locations and the starting date for bus meal delivery.
John Kopicki was sworn in as the new superintendent of Cabarrus County Schools on August 16, 2021. Dr. Kopicki is the 11th CCS superintendent.
