Because Federal law (FERPA) protects the privacy of every student enrolled at Cal Poly, we are unable to provide student information to anyone other than the student.

Summer break is in sight as we are gearing up to celebrate the Class of 2020! As soon-to-be graduates finish their last quarter this June, we trust that they will stay connected and continue to hone the Learn by Doing attitude Cal Poly has instilled in them.
Cal Poly is actively monitoring the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). We are proactively engaged in pandemic planning with our public health partners, including the County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Department and the CDC. The university is following the guidance of the CDC and our local health officials.

Former residents that left items in their room due to COVID-19 can now schedule a move-out appointment to retrieve their items. Please encourage your student to utilize their Housing Portal to select from scheduled move-out arrival and departure times over a period of weeks.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, in order to maximize student access, all group therapy for Spring 2020 will be offered in virtual formats. Group Therapy is when a group of no more than 8-10 students meet with 1-2 therapists for 60-90 minutes.
TRIO Achievers program, also known as Student Support Services (SSS), is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and has been a part of Cal Poly services to students since 1984. We aid at least 258 active students every year. Students who participate in the program come from every academic department and major on campus.
Cal Poly Charges Tuition-Registration one quarter at a time, based on enrollment. On Campus Housing and Dining charges are usually posted for the entire year.
Registration-Tuition Fees are posted on a quarterly basis. The system-wide "Fee Past Due Date" shows for ALL students (regardless of Financial Aid status) in the "Unpaid Charges" sub-tab of Money Matters as well as "Activity Details" in the payment portal or "Charges by Due Date" in Share My Information reports.
If you are interested in using a Payment Plan for Registration-Tuition, you will need to enroll in that plan prior to the system wide due date for the quarter. More information on our Term Payment Plan page.
Academic Calendar. The Academic Calendar is the official calendar for Cal Poly and includes important dates for all terms, including when terms begin and end, as well as commencement and holidays.
The Career Services department on campus can help you find a student assistant or intern position on campus as well as jobs and internships off campus and in your industry. Find out about job fairs or get résumé and interview help.
Cal Poly’s Office of Equal Opportunity offers numerous support and reporting options for victims of sexual misconduct and sexual harassment. Even if you are not a victim, you can help by reporting such incidents.
