Are your campers ready to dive into Camp Cody?

Well, just because our campers are ready to dive into Camp Cody for four weeks, doesn’t mean their parents are! Our two-week sessions give families a camp test-run, preparing them for even more adventure and fun the next summer. If you’re unsure what session length is the best fit for your camper (or you, we understand!), give us a call!

Who is the director of Cody camp?

Sheri joined the Cody Family and Leadership Team in 2001, working alongside her husband, Philip, as Camp Director. With a degree in Business Administration, Sheri brings years of working experience to Cody and oversees the camp operations and family communications year-round.

Why do we offer two-week sessions for Camp Cody?

To provide sufficient time for these new interests to blossom and new skills to develop, we recommend at least four weeks for first-time campers. So, why do we offer two-week sessions? Well, just because our campers are ready to dive into Camp Cody for four weeks, doesn’t mean their parents are!

Who is the head tennis coach at Camp Cody?

Gordie is the Head of our Tennis Program at Camp Cody. With more than 25 years of coaching experience in grassroots programs, state championship high school teams, men’s college tennis and top-level junior and professional play, Gordie is an incredible mentor who enhances and embraces the Camp Cody experience.

Where is Nick from Camp Cody?

He is from a small town in southern Ohio where he grew up playing soccer, cross country, and basketball. Nick has been working at Camp Cody for four years now starting as a counselor for pioneer boys. He then worked for two years as the pioneer boys group director here at camp.

What is Sam's favorite part of camp?

His favorite part about camp is the paddle boarding, waterfront activities and playing cards with the Junior boys. Sam is from London England and this is his first summer at Camp Cody. He has been working as a Soccer Counselor and has been working with the Junior boys division.

Cody Awards

These awards are unique to Camp Cody and prompt Scouts to advance in rank and earn a variety of merit badges during their seven years at camp.

Cody Waterfront Awards

While neither of these is a merit badge, both awards demonstrate a Scout’s strong swimming abilities at altitude. Both require extra time outside merit badge classes.
