Camp Sunrise provides a safe, nurturing environment where campers build character, develop lasting friendships, and grow in their relationship with God—all in the great outdoors. Arizona Camp Sunrise & Sidekicks Summer Fun Day Camps are for children who have or had cancer and their siblings, ages 3-7. Campers experience a variety of activities over two weeks, including games, arts and crafts, field trips, and swimming. Day Camp is held in Phoenix.
Camp Sunrise consists of a Director who oversees all of the groups and maintains communication with the Parks and Recreation Department. The Assistant Director reports to the Director and assists each of the Group Leaders with daily tasks and coordinates all volunteers. Campers are grouped by age and ability into different groups.
All other refunds generally take 2-4 weeks to process. Health & Medical Forms. Each camper is required to submit a completed “Camp Sunrise Health Form” prior to his/her arrival at camp. A doctor must perform the required medical exam.

Fees. The fee for summer camp is $135/week ($165/week for typical siblings). The fee cannot be prorated for the number of days your child will attend per week. Admission for all field trips, as well as juice for the morning and juice for lunch is included in the cost.
A typical camp day consists of several planned activity periods throughout the day including sports, nature, arts and crafts and special events. Campers will swim at the Addison outdoor pool and your weekly schedule for camp will detail on which days your child swims.
Camp Sunrise will also follow all state guidelines for safety in day camps including: Maximum group size of 16 children with no mixing of groups (as indicated above) Daily Health screenings of staff and campers including temperature checks with an infrared thermometer.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. , Monday-Friday. The program will meet at the Naubuc School Cafeteria. Each group participates in a variety of activity periods each day which include games, sports, art and crafts, nature walks and field trips. You may sign your child up for anywhere from one to seven weeks.

Arizona Camp Sidekicks programs are for siblings of cancer fighters, ages 8-18. Campers attend Camp Sidekicks independent of their sibling with cancer. This allows siblings the opportunity to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of having a sibling with cancer, as well as make their own camp memories.
Southwest Kids Cancer Foundation believes that children with cancer should have the same opportunities to experience joys and freedoms as a healthy child, including a meaningful camp experience .

Length: 2 weeks. Sunday, July 18 - Friday, July 30. July Camp 2 is a great way to enjoy camp life in a two week time frame, all the while experiencing the energy and excitement through its overlap of Main Camp. This session is packed full of skills development, out-of-camp trips, and special evening programs.
Grades: 5K-8th. Length: 2 weeks. Sunday, June 13 - Friday, June 25. This session is ideal for older, first-time campers or younger campers who want an experience longer than the one-week Adventure Camp.

From the galleries you can also save pictures, and order prints of your favorite photos.
Welcome, parents! While your child is at camp, you can come here to view photos, watch videos, and get other updates from Camp Tecumseh. You can also send an email to your camper.
You don’t need a stamp to say hello at Camp. Stay in touch with your child throughout the week via email. Make sure to include your child’s name and cabin name in the subject line. 50 cents will be charged to your child’s Trading Post account for each page. Campers can’t email outgoing messages, but they can write letters home.
