Can I drive a golf cart in Canal Winchester?

The City of Canal Winchester wishes to remind golf cart drivers that carts are only to be driven on streets with speed limits of 25 MPH or lower. Like all motorized vehicles, golf carts are not permitted on any bike paths or trails.

When can you submit comments to the Ohio City Council?

Submit a Comment. Comments will be accepted until 12:00 PM (noon) the Friday before the meeting. Comments may also be made in person during the City Council meetings.

When will the City Council meeting be open in 2021?

Beginning June 2, 2021, all public meetings will reopen for public in-person attendance. The first City Council meeting that will be open to the public is Monday, June 7 at Town Hall (10 N. High Street). Capacity will be limited to 35 guests.

Is Canal Winchester still a membership only pool?

City Maintains Membership- Only Policy for Remaining 2021 Pool Season. The City of Canal Winchester decided Friday, July 9, to continue the membership-only policy at the Municipal Pool through the remainder of the 2021 pool season.

2020 Drive-Thru Fall Fest!

In an effort to connect with students and families of the Canal Winchester Local School district, the PTO is hosting a socially distant and healthy event that will allow families to venture out into the community and celebrate fall together.

Classroom Grants

Classroom Grants are how we directly impact and help the teachers in Canal Winchester. Teachers can apply for a Classroom Grant from the PTO and receive $100 to purchase needed supplies, new seating, or anything their teaching heart desires to better their classrooms and help their students.

Spirit Wear Sales

Everyone loves to show their school pride! We use our Spirit Wear Sales to raise money to fund our Classroom Grant Program. Offered in the Fall and Spring, we offer a variety of shirts, tank tops, and sweatshirts. With 100% of the proceeds benefitting teachers in CW, please consider buying from the PTO when purchasing your school gear!

Homework Help Incentive Program

New for the 2019-2020 school year, the PTO is working with the Columbus Public Library and their Homework Help Center to incentivize students in taking advantage of this free program that is available to all students. The Homework Help Center is open Monday through Friday and is open to students K to 12th Grade.

Staff & Teacher Appreciation

Throughout the year, the PTO finds ways to thank the staff and teachers who are pouring into the students of Canal Winchester.

Family Literacy Night & STEM Night

The PTO loves partnering with ITES and WTES for these FREE family fun nights. Each geared towards different things, the PTO proudly helps with the pizza for the evening. We also have our Spirit Wear sales available at both events.

Kids Night In

Held twice a year, this fundraiser raises money for our Homework Help Incentive Program. Parents get a night "off" and students get the fun of playing "after hours" at school, all while helping to fund a great program! It really is a win, win, WIN! This year's dates are November 15th and February 7th.

We keep FUN at the center of every program and special activity we provide. Our goal is to help kids develop social, emotional and physical skills in a safe, fun and inviting environment.

Boosting Self Esteem & Body Awareness

From our Baby Katz Program to our Competitive Girls Gymnastics team, our programs will engage your child's body and mind by helping them develop their self confidence and increase their body awareness.

Competitive & Recreational Gymnastics

No matter if your child wants to become a competitive gymnast or just wants to work on their tumbling skills, we are committed to helping them have fun and feel good about themselves and their progress.
