Self-discipline and time management- Dancers learn from a young age to be respectful and dignified in class, as well as to balance time spent in dance classes with schoolwork, social and family commitments, setting them up for success in college and beyond.
Lauren has been dancing as long as she can remember and has been teaching and inspiring CAPA students for 18 years. She has performed with the St. Louis Municipal Opera, Gateway Ballet of St. Louis and American Dance Troupe, as well as competing regionally and nationally.
She danced in over 20 musicals including “Annie”, “My One and Only”, and “Crazy for You”. She was awarded the “Gypsy” award twice and served as dance captain in “Dames at Sea.”. She is a member of Dance Masters of America. tippy] Clarissa Boeriu.
Camarillo Academy of Performing Arts is a family-owned and operated business, and has been training Ventura County dancers since 1999. We are proud to offer a large facility with five separate classrooms, all of which have professional dance flooring to protect our growing dancers’ legs and feet from injury. Our talented and diverse faculty hold university degrees, teaching certifications and professional stage, film and television credits, as well as extensive experience training dancers of all ages. In 1999, she founded Stephanie Elder School of Dance which later became Camarillo Academy of Performing Arts. As the Artistic Director of CAPA, her students have won numerous awards and scholarships and many have gone on to pursue a career in the performing arts. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America (DMA) since 2000.
Taylor Ostronic. [tippy title=”Read bio”] Taylor Ostronic is from Kansas City, Missouri. She began her training under Laura Reinschmidt at The Classical Ballet School. After graduating high school Taylor continued her dance education at the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri – Kansas City .
[tippy title=”Read bio”] Patricia Martin, originally a dancer from Sacramento, CA is currently a dancer and instructor in the Southern California area . Patricia trained rigorously with Ron Cunningham, Carrine Binda and the Sacramento Ballet where she received all her training prior to University.
