What is the Carmel portal?

The Carmel Portal is an important resource for parents and caregiver’s to access whilst their child is attending the College. The portal has been put in place to strengthen our home/school links and to give you access to important information to have meaningful conversations around your child’s education at home.

What is Carmel Central School District doing about digital access at home?

In response to this requirement, Carmel Central School District is collecting responses from our community regarding digital access at home through an online survey. You will be receiving an email later today or tomorrow with a link to a brief survey to complete. We ask that you help us collect the required data by completing it by December 17.

When is the 8th grade entrance exam at Carmel?

If your current 8th grade student has not yet completed an entrance exam at Carmel Catholic High School, or at any other school located within the Archdiocese of Chicago, they are eligible to take the exam. Exams will be offered every other Wednesday and Monday, February 21.

Who was the teacher at Carmel High School?

Carmel High School teacher Robert Buccheri honored our nation’s heroes from WW II by dressing as a member of the 101st Airborne Division to bring the story of D-Day alive for students. Carmel High School student-musicians participated in an open rehearsal outdoors.

When will Carmel High School have HAC?

If your child is attending a summer program at Carmel High School, you will continue to have HAC access for the duration of the summer program, however no 20-21 school year information will be available after July 16, 2021.

If you copied and pasted the Access ID and Password from the document you received, please try typing them in manually.

HOW DO I SWITCH BETWEEN STUDENTS?

Click on the first name in the dark blue bar at the top of the screen to switch to information unique to that student.

HOW DO I ADD ANOTHER STUDENT?

From Account Preferences, select the Student tab. Click the Add button. You will need an Access ID and Access Password to add an additional student to your account.

HOW DO I SEE ASSIGNMENTS?

From Grades and Attendance, click on the grade for the course and grading period.

WHY AM I NOT SEEING ATTENDANCE INFORMATION FOR MY MIDDLE SCHOOL OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT?

Attendance information is only available for elementary school students.

WHY SHOULD I USE THE WEB PORTAL INSTEAD OF THE APP?

The PowerSchool app is a lite version of the portal and not all information is available. For access to the full portal on your phone, you may wish to add https://powerschool.ccs.k12.in.us/public/ to your home screen or bookmark this website in your phone's browser. Follow these instructions for Android or iOS .

Error message after logging in via the web

After logging in, an error message appears that states, "An error was detected contacting the server. Please contact customer support if this continues to occur." Once the error message is dismissed, the user is taken back to the login page.

Izzy Bing '25 Qualifies for State Cross Country Meet

After finishing 20th at the Woodstock North Sectional, Carmel Catholic's Izzy Bing '25 is set to compete in her first State Finals, representing the Corsairs on Saturday, November 6 in Peoria. The girls' 3-mile event is set for an 11 am start at Detweiller Park.
