The Caroline County Public School Board voted unanimously at its regularly scheduled meeting on October 8, 2018, to move into contract negotiations with Sarah B. Calveric, Ph.D. to become the next Superintendent of Caroline County Public Schools. Dr. Calveric has served as the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction for CCPS since 2016.
This plan describes how Caroline County Public Schools will maintain the health and safety of students, educators, and other school and division staff during and following the return to full in-person instruction.
A document entitled “Accessing Student Test Results in Parent Portal” will be emailed to you which includes directions and a student-specific claim code. After the parent account is created, the claim code enables you to access your child’s test results.
This will be an ongoing service project for the 2021-2022 school. The Care Bags includes a heartfelt encouraging get well card created by the hands of the CMS, NJHS members in addition to PPE, Personal Hygiene items and more! All items were donated from Caroline’s Promise and their sponsors.
6th grade students who are in at least one advanced course have the opportunity to sign up for our 6th grade Eagle Scholars program!
Activity buses will pick students up from CMS at 5:15pm (Monday – Thursday). Practices will end so that students have time to grab belongings and get on the bus. Parents should plan to pick up students no later than 5:15pm.
Activity buses will be running Monday-Thursday during the Winter sports season and will leave at 5:30 each day from CHS.
Wrestling – Open to boys and girls and historically everyone makes the team.
Caroline County Public Schools is concerned about the health of its students and staff. Y Street’s Caroline High School Training Kick-Off is coming up on January 12, 2022. Y Street is the largest youth-led volunteer movement in the Commonwealth that focuses on making healthy behaviors easier and more accessible both in and out of the school environment.

The input of grades by teachers will be timely but not immediate. The school system expects grades to be entered within a week unless notification is made previously by the teacher.
The school system will only share parent portal information with parents and legal guardians.
