Carrollton, Ky. — October 18, 2021 — The Kentucky Department of Education has released testing accountability information for schools across Kentucky for the 2020-2021 school year.
In order to fight the spread of Covid-19, masks are still required in the Carroll County School District. This applies to all individuals — students, staff, and visitors — regardless of whether those individuals are vaccinated or unvaccinated. This rule applies inside all district buildings, schools, and buses.

Beginning November 29, masks will be recommended — but not required — in the Carroll County School District. This will apply to all students, staff and visitors. This rule will remain in effect as long as the Covid-19 positivity rate for the school district remains below 1%. In the event that the positivity rate for the school district rises above 1%, masks will once again be required.
Carrollton, Ky. - June 28, 2021 - Natalie Brown, Ed.D., has been named the new principal of Carroll County High School. Brown comes to the Carroll County School District from Waggener High School in the Jefferson County Public School system, where she serves as director of instruction.
