How do I apply to Cate School?

The Cate School code: 8529 IELTS: Visit IELTS USA or call (323) 255-2771. To begin the application process, you must complete the Admission Inquiry Form to create your Cate Admission Portal account. If you are a current parent, staff, or faculty at Cate, please sign directly into the Admission Portal with your username and password.

Does Cate have an international student program?

Cate welcomes international students. We are thrilled to be able to welcome prospective families back to Cate in the Fall of 2021. We designed our in-person program to show students and parents/guardians Cate’s unique programs, campus, culture, and community.

Cate School admits students of any race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School.

Does Cate School accept the SSAT?

For the 2021-2022 admission cycle (2022-2023 applicants), Cate School is not accepting standardized admission test scores (SSAT and ISEE). This decision was made in order to better serve our prospective students and their families.

What is the test for Cate School?

Cate School requires that all non-native English speakers take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International Language Testing System (IELTS) in order to demonstrate proficiency in oral and written English, even if you have been studying in an English speaking country for the last few years.

Does Cate School accept Gateway to Prep Schools?

Once your account is active, you may log in at any time to track the status of your application. Cate School accepts the Gateway to Prep Schools Application. This is a relatively common application that will be accepted by most if not all of the boarding schools to which you will apply. For Program Applicants.
