All students and alumni since 2000 automatically have access to Cardinal Pay. Students who wish to grant other individuals access to their account information (including notification of balances) must establish those individuals as Authorized Users in Cardinal Pay.
A qualifying event would include the following: Loss of coverage due to a change in job status when coverage is provided by your employer.

It is important to check the exact number of credits you are billed for in Cardinal Station. Students must be billed for at least 6 credits to be eligible for enrollment in the student medical insurance plan. This 6 credit minimum does not apply for dissertation students that are only billed for 1 credit.
All International students holding a F1 or J1 visa (regardless of billed credit hours) are automatically enrolled in The Catholic University of America medical insurance plan unless an online waiver is submitted and accepted by September 13, 2021.
International students who will be staying in their home country and taking classes remotely, are not required to submit a waiver. However, upon entering and studying in the United States, international students will need to provide proof of coverage or will be enrolled in Catholic University’s plan.
If you become a full time student during the academic year, you may not request to be added to the Student Medical Plan mid-year. Dependents are not eligible for coverage under The Catholic University of America student medical insurance plan.
