What is Celina ISD?

Celina ISD, the “Destination District” encompasses 96 square miles, serving residents of Collin and Denton counties, as well as the communities of Alla and Weston. Celina ISD is located 40 miles north of Dallas and is currently one of the fastest growing public school districts in the State of Texas. Due to a reputation built upon not only academic excellence, but a wealth of state championships spread across our extracurricular programs, Celina ISD is preparing and meeting the challenges that come with growth.

Who founded the Alla School?

In 1896, the Alla School was founded by Dr. and Mrs. Moses Hubbard. At that time, children spent less than four months in school and only those who could afford tuition could attend. Their two-story building was named after their daughter, Alla, which started with 108 students.

Where is Celina ISD?

Celina ISD serves students who live within the District's attendance zone in the cities of Celina, Weston, and McKinney. Your child must live within Celina ISD boundaries to attend CISD schools.

Does Celina ISD require proof of residency?

Celina ISD requires families provide proof of residency each year in order to complete the enrollment and registration process. **Please note that registrars are still enrolling students for the current school year as well as preparing to close out the current school year.

Hello! My name is Kasi Webster and I am an Area Manager for AlphaBEST in Celina ISD. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and taught for 8 years in Frisco. I have worked with AlphaBEST for over 12 years and I have had the privilege to serve our AlphaBEST families in both Frisco ISD and Prosper ISD.
